History: Born in the north to a Painter, Raymond learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Through the years after Raymond was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Raymond's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Raymond and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Godfrey was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gifted student he started as a Sculptor, but he got bored and became a Performer. He has achieved small success as a Performer.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Knight work with an outfit from a few towns over. Knight work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 13 years.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. A gifted student he started as a Tailor, but he got bored and became a Dyer. After a long history of fighting, Jocelyn and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Dyer and was forced into it by his family; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

History: Born in the west to a Ruler, Conrad learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Ruler.
