History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and doesn't want to be a doctor and was forced into it by his family

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Peter was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Map Maker. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting brigands, the young Peter began to lead the lost caravan. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He worked as a nervous Barrister and found it very stressful. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Barrister responsibilities is difficult.
