History: Nicholas was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Expert, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Expert in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: Wymar was raised in a hard working conservative environment. At some point he was captured by gnolls and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He struck the Merchant job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it
