History: Bertram was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 2 years.

History: Alexandre was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
