Description: He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His chestnut hair is greasy and uncared for. His face is scarred and worn.
Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.
History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Norman was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: To reunite with his absent father.

Description: This southern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He prefers to wear pastel pants and tee shirts. His silver hair is singed and shortened. He is baby faced.
Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He works hard and plays hard.
History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and doesn't want to be a bookbinder and was forced into it by his family

Description: He is a physically imposing light-skinned man. He is well dressed, constantly wearing a tan suit, grey shirt, and black tie. His black hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His gray eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.
Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.
History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When Patrick reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he's looking for his big break

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.
History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and to find somewhere to settle down
