Gerald Spalding, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: His left side is far more bruised and cut up than his other. He wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. His golden hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. He has gleaming, smiling blue eyes.
Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.
History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Through the years after Gerald was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Gerald's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.
Flaws: Ugly, Antagonistic, Disease. Bonds: Slave. Occupation: Adventurer
Voice: Puts emphasis on the wrong words

Miles Redfield, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: A moderately attractive man, he has a large brown mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his green robe. He wears his chestnut hair up in a very large beehive style do. His half smiles and green eyes are beguiling and draw you in.
Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He works hard and plays hard.
History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Miles liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he seems to be bored by most things
Ideals: Justice. Flaws: Hedonist, Mundane. Bonds: Attractive, Nature. Occupation: Roofer
Voice: Breathy voice

Personal [hide]
Description: He wears a brown vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His tan leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his brown boots flare out at the collars, and carries pickaxes. His silver hair is still thick. He has a tattooed face.
Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. A true patriot, Thomas would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.
History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He worked as a nervous Armorer and found it very stressful. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Thomas fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.

Arnold Camden, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He is dressed in an above average manner. His skin is fair and his fingers are delicate and long. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His eyes are likewise green.
Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He invites people to come help in his community garden.
History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Soapmaker father left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
Motivation: To end his boredom; and to get a good night's sleep

Roger Gresham, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: The light-skinned man stands 6'4" and wears a white vest and prefers green and pastel shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. He wears a broad hat to cover his moderate length black hair. His gray eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Roger is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Roger took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up greatsword and armor he uses now. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions
Ideals: Joker, Justice. Flaws: Ugly. Bonds: Religious, Nature. Occupation: Sailor
Voice: Pronounces difficult words wrong
