History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Through the years after Nicholas was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Nicholas's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Nicholas and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Manfred was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Seamstress. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. His childhood dream was to be a Laborer, but he was a colossal failure. He's also a talented Laborer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and sabotage a competitor

History: Theobald was born the youngest of three triplets. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and expand his business
