Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized tan coat. His white hair is heavily combed to the left. He wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. The war was a terrible time for him, and Hugh does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to reunite with his old friends

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Humans. His skin is dark but he possesses many tan ritualistic tattoos. He is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: He thrives on attention. He does whatever is in his power to gain the attention of whomever he deems a fit date. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.
History: Peter was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and wants to raise his children well

Description: He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright tan and white, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. His golden hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His eyes are gray and catlike.
Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.
History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.
Motivation: He is content; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.
History: Roland hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Locksmith. He became a Locksmith soon after.
Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Locksmith responsibilities is difficult; and expand his business

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He invites people to come help in his community garden.
History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.
Motivation: Wants to raise his children well.
