He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
