Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Aldous's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Aldous was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has achieved small success as a Blacksmith.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Guy alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. Aldous liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Personality: This man loves poetry and to teach people poetry more than just about anything. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: Born in the west to a Healer, Nicholas learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He struck the Healer job and began his own company from there.
