Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a sweet of some kind. He tends to wear a green poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt, marred by sweets. He has a blonde handlebar mustache and slicked back blonde hair. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes brigands are coming to abduct people. He has all his life been fascinated with music.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the south. Simon was born on a far southern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Fortune-teller. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it; and to get a good night's sleep

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, drow burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying south to reunite his family. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

He has dyed his greying golden hair a little too much giving a sharp golden color. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He comes from a rich western family. His first spouse was a Bowyer, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.

He is bald on top and has large silver tufts of hair around his ears. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Bertram hails from a village terrorized by brigands. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: Thomas hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he has money and likes to spend it
