History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Merchant arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Roland alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His first spouse was a Hunter, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Mercenary father left him crippled. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
