Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Justin was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He became a Guard soon after.

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Shane's homeland. Shane decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and retire the richest man in the east

Description: He wears rags and sports a simple walking cane, and carries scythes. His hair is long and chestnut with streaks of brown, and is pulled back with small black clips. His beard is brown, braided, and well cared for. His eyes are likewise hazel. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Lance fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Adelard is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and to reunite with his absent mother
