Description: This younger middle-aged man is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times, and a wedding ring on his right hand. His blonde hair is smooth and relatively long. His eyes are violet.
Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. A true patriot, Jocelyn would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.
History: Jocelyn was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love.

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he wears a tattered pair of loose white pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. His hair is auburn and curly. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.
Personality: He is fixated on the number 9. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.
History: Henry was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He is generally shirtless and showing off his tattooed chest. He has shaved his head bald. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.
Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. He is obsessed with finding treasure.
History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Butcher work with an outfit from a few towns over. Butcher work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He now owns his own business.
Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.
History: Born to a Cartwright, his father struggled to pay the bills. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Gomory was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and someone believes him a fraud

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a beer of some kind. He wears an entirely black suit with white socks and a vest with buckled shoes, marred by beers. With bright white hair and a scraggly beard. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.
Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.
History: Trey lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
