Personality: He hates orcs. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: Born in the west to a Doctor, Nicholas learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Doctor responsibilities is difficult.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. After coming to the age of reason, Jocelyn took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
