Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. His long auburn hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His green eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Charles isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Charles was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Mortician profession.

History: Gifted from a young age, Arnold studied abroad. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Courier. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and wants to raise his children well

Description: He wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around his neck, and a rapier on his belt, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 6'0" when asserting himself. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy black hair. His green eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

Ideals: Fighting, Justice. Flaws: Disease, Insomniac. Bonds: Family. Occupation: Locksmith

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: Born to a Carpenter, his father struggled to pay the bills. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Flaws: Antagonistic, Racist. Bonds: Poor, Attractive, Religious. Occupation: Assassin

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. A true patriot, Robert would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He got into the Crown-heir business at a young age. Through the years after Robert was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Robert's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He tends to his Crown-heir job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
