History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ralf grew up listening to his father's many stories. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Ralf alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He struck the Shoemaker job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and sabotage a competitor

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He's also a talented Interpreter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
