Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting gnolls, the young Arnold began to lead the lost caravan. He now mingles about in high society.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Lance fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
