Description: Runty and weak-looking, he wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around his neck, and a scimitar on his belt. He sports a flattop hair cut. He has gleaming, smiling violet eyes.
Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.
History: Jocelyn was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Expert, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Expert in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Human Expert who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
Motivation: He's looking for his big break.

Description: He is a husky man, who wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. His brown hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a top hat. His eyes are likewise hazel. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.
Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.
History: Raymond was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Spice Merchant and occasionally as a mercenary.
Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. His red hair is matted, messy, and big. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady green eyes.
Personality: He is a Interpreter first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.
History: He was raised in a plains tribe. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Interpreter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Interpreter work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature kukri.

Description: With violet face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with broad hat. He wears his chestnut hair up. His brown eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.
Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Gerald alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Guard. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Guard for the past few years.
