History: Cory lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. A gifted student he started as a Locksmith, but he got bored and became a Brewer. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and he is unsatisfied with his job
