He found a children's book about a Human Adept who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Born in the west to a Sage, Percival learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Rolf was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
