History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Richard grew up listening to his father's many stories. Richard liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Bertram was born on a far western desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Ruler. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Bertram was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.
