History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Chad was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: This eastern man is abnormally tall. He typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep green leather and dull black iron scale mail. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His silver hair is braided into rings. His eyes are green and beady.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying east to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and a deep hatred of dire rats

History: He was born in a small desert village. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and to prove his worth to the world

Sporting a chestnut mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are hazel.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Gifted from a young age, Diggory studied abroad. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and to end his boredom
