History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Bernard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Engraver born in the past three hundred years. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Gerald was born the youngest of three triplets. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He's also a talented Carter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Engraver and was forced into it by his family; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

His father worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and wants to work out more often
