History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He bought a rapier and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: To protect his home; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: 5'6" and muscular, this northern man wears many layers of old clothing at all times. His brown hair is cut short. His eyes are brown and catlike.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: The child of a Bookbinder, who enjoyed hunting, Bernard was taken on many hunting expeditions. Bernard liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was born in the north. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Manfred was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
