History: The child of a Miner, who enjoyed hunting, Nicholas was taken on many hunting expeditions. History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. A gifted student he started as a Soapmaker, but he got bored and became a Navigator. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Navigator for hire.
