Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Miles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Solomon speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: Solomon was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Druid, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Druid in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and expand his business

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he's repulsed by the pc
