He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered drow who tried to eat his hand. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He was born in the north. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Assassin. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Mason. He's also a talented Unemployed, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: Balimaar hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister
