History: Born to a Guard, his father struggled to pay the bills. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Godfrey alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
