History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Jocelyn alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Jocelyn was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Patrick was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.
