History: Born to a Guard, his father struggled to pay the bills. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: He is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. He has relatively dark skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. He wears a broad hat to cover his moderate length white hair. His eyes are brown.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Roland was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the south. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He has a crush on the local Shoemaker.

Description: A stocky darker skinned man, he wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with feathered hat. His black hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gunter embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Born in the west to a Priest, Gunter learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He now owns his own business.

Description: This late middle aged man wears an entirely white suit with violet socks and a vest with buckled shoes and is in decent physical shape. His golden hair is smooth and relatively long. His ears are large.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
