History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Glassblower arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Through the years after Hubert was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Hubert's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized amethyst on his left hand. He sports a long red beard, and similarly colored long hair. His eyes are amber and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.
