History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Gilbert liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. At a young age his father died while driving off some dire rats. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in longbow use. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Everard speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Everard was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

History: He was born into a rich family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: Richard was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others.
