History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Everard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Everard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with his Miner mother left him crippled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and to get a good night's sleep

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and wishes to resurrect an old love
