Personality: Randal speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Randal was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he has money and likes to spend it

History: Born in the west to a Bookbinder, Balimaar learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he wants revenge against brigands

Description: This fat western man has a bulbous nose and wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. His skin is also unnaturally pale. He has no hair. His eyes are likewise amber.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Gilbert lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.
