History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Nicholas was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now mingles about in high society.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
