He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Manfred fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He got into the Jeweler business at a young age. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: Guy was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and meet up once more with his childhood friend
