History: Shane hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He worked as a nervous Armorer and found it very stressful. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and many dire rats want him driven away

History: Everard was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Map Maker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He tends to his Map Maker job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Map Maker responsibilities is difficult; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
