History: Manfred hails from a village terrorized by illithids. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Manfred was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving Gomory enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Gomory was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was born into a rich family. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: Born in the west to a Barkeep, Lance learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Tanner, but he got bored and became a Barkeep. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he is greedy
