Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Aldous was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: Bertram lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company.
