History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Simon alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Simon was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the orcs.

Motivation: He wants revenge against orcs.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: Gerald hails from a village terrorized by giants. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and to protect his home

Description: This man stands a little under 5'2" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears an entirely white suit with tan socks and a vest with buckled shoes. His red hair is heavily combed to the right. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: He thrives on attention. He does whatever is in his power to gain the attention of whomever he deems a fit date. The war was a terrible time for him, and Peter does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Gifted from a young age, Peter studied abroad. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Layabout. He has worked as a Layabout like his father before him.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and sabotage a competitor

Description: He is an attractive man, lean and moderately muscular. He wears well tailored suits and hats with beautiful decoration. He is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. He sports a long golden beard, and similarly colored long hair. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: Roger wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Bard, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and money/treasure
