History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He worked as a nervous Herbalist and found it very stressful. He struck the Herbalist job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Herbalist and was forced into it by his family; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His first spouse was a Courier, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gilbert embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He always admired druidic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. A freak accident while working with his Doctor father left him crippled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
