Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. Adelard is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: John hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Through the years after John was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. John's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, John and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and regain custody of his son

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Aldous alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He struck the Butcher job and began his own company from there.
