Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: William was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Cartwright hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and to reunite with his absent mother

Description: He tends to wear a pastel poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt, and he perpetually has his monstrous two handed axe ready. He sports a long red beard, and similarly colored long hair. He has several tiny opal earrings on each ear.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he is greedy

Description: He wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'1" when asserting himself. His blonde hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. He has several tiny ruby earrings on each ear.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was born in the east. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Miller they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Marshal, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and to reunite with his absent father

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a tea of some kind. He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his ceremonial dagger with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt, marred by teas. His auburn hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. He has gleaming, smiling green eyes.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with his Dyer father left him crippled. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.
