History: He comes from a rich eastern family. His childhood dream was to be a Armorer, but he was a colossal failure. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Shane fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the east. When Kyle reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and human compassion

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother.

Personality: Simon is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Simon was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Simon and his spouse have recently divorced.
