History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Shane lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: Theodoric hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.
