History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Layabout hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and to clean up the streets

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. The war was a terrible time for him, and Patrick does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His first spouse was a Apothecary, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and to reunite with his absent father

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and he has money and likes to spend it

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His childhood dream was to be a Sage, but he was a colossal failure. He became a Beggar soon after.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
