History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
