History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Adelard grew up listening to his father's many stories. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: He was born in a small plains village. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Description: 5'7" and lanky with angular features, he is an attractive figure. He wears a blue vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His white leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his blue boots flare out at the collars. He wears his black hair down. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is a great chef.

History: Don was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears a fancy grey suit. His hair is cut close to his head. His skin is flawless and his green eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: Percival hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his poetry career. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He wears just a violet suit. His red hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Beggar. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Beggar responsibilities is difficult.
