History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He now mingles about in high society.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gilbert grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
